“Official Rules”

1. This promotion is open only to individuals who, at the time, (i) possess valid government photo identification, (ii) are Premiere Club Members, and (iii) age 21 or older. Employees of The Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino, affiliates, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to participate in this promotion. 

2. PRELIMINARY INFORMATION: This promotion begins Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 8:00AM and ends on Friday, June 26, 2019 at 8:00PM. Guests will earn entries to be placed in the drawing barrel. Entry tickets will be removed weekly at the end of the drawing night and placed in a shred bin.

3. How entries are earned and redeemed:

• One (1) Entry for every 350 Slot or Poker points earned daily.
• One (1) Entry for every ½ hour of play on Table Games.*
• One (1) Entry for Bingo Buy-in.**
• One (1) Entry for New Email.***
• One (1) Entry for New Members at the time of sign-up.
• 2X’s Entry Friday from 2:00AM to 10:00AM

*Not including Poker time.

**One (1) Bingo receipt per guest.

***Does not include updating email.

*Must redeem entry tickets for same date of play.*

4. Entry tickets must be claimed daily before midnight. On drawing dates guest may not redeem tickets thirty (30) minutes prior to drawing times. All tickets must be put into the barrel five (5) minutes prior to drawing. Associates are not allowed to drop entry tickets into the barrel or fill out entry tickets for guest. Barrel will be located at the promotional area.

5. SELECTION OF WINNER AND ELIGIBILITY FOR PROMOTION: Every Friday five (5) winners will be drawn at 4:00PM and 8:00PM at the promotional stage in the Casino of the Moon. Must be present to win. Winners will be drawn by an associate outside of Marketing Department and verified by an additional Associate. All winners drawn will have the opportunity to win Money in the “Cash Cube”.

6. $30,000 Total in Cash Cube:

• $20,000 in $100 bills
• $6,000 in $50 bills
• $4,000 in $20 bills

7. How to play Whirlwind of Cash:
   1. Winners chosen will receive thirty (30) seconds in the Cash Cube.
   2. The winner will grab money while in the air and place in the designated box.
   3. No binding or crouching to grabbing money off the floor.
   4. Must wear safety glasses provided.
   5. Shirts buttoned to the top and tucked in.
   6. Clothing and or body will not be allowed to assist in catching the money.
   7. Any loose clothing must be removed, such as sweaters, jackets, hats, etc.
   8. Long Sleeves must be rolled up.
   9. Once time has expired, all Cash in the hands must be dropped.
   10. If money is not completely in the designated box, it will still be counted as long as it does not drop when the guest steps out of the Cash Cube.
   11. Before exiting the Cash Cube, guest must shake any money that is stuck on the clothing and or body. Any shirt pockets must be emptied prior to exiting.
   12. The Marketing/Promotion Coordinator and or Manager will then count the Cash from the designated box, in front of the winner and another associate.
   13. Next guest will not be able to participate until all cash is counted and back in the Cash Cube.

*Should a winner be unable to participate in the Cash Cube Promotion physically, they will be able to appoint someone of their choice to take their place in the Cash Cube. Winner draw will be awarded the prize.

8. CLAIMING PRIZE: Any Tachi Cash prize won will be automatically be loaded to Premiere Club account depending on promotion program used. Guest must provide a valid and current photo ID at all times such as a U.S. Driver’s License or State ID, Passport, Mexican Consulate, Residential, Military ID and Premiere Club Card at the time of participant verification.

9. Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino requires all winners to fill out a W-9 on all Cash and Cash Value physical prize winnings. Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino assumes no liability once prize has been released to the winner and all appropriate paperwork has been completed. Winners are responsible for all applicable Federal & State Taxes. Should a 1042-S be filed out for a prize won; 30% of Cash prize will be held automatically, physical prize (i.e. car)  the winner will be responsible to pay 30% of the value within seven (7) days from the date prize was won. Promotion prizes are Miscellaneous Income, per IRS Tax Regulations and must be reported if winnings are more than $600 in the same calendar year.

10. No substitution of prize, transfer of prize or cash alternative permitted.  Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process of the promotion. Giving false information, resulting in violation of the Official Rules: to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike, disruptive manner with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. If participant is found not to be in compliance with these Official Rules, the disqualification will result with an alternate participant. Cage Cash Redemptions (CCR) must be collected and cashed same day received before midnight.

11. GENERAL INFORMATION: By participating in the promotion, members agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules. Participates agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino, whose decisions are binding and final.  Entry tickets must be filled out completely and legible to be valid. Winners agree that photographs will be taken and used for advertising purposes. Participants agree to hold harmless the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino from any and all liability. For any injury, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse of the prize, participation in any promotion related activity. Should a participant be unable to participate in the promotion physically, they will be able to appoint someone of their choice, which is not a TPH&C associate, to take their place in the promotion. Winner drawn will be awarded the prize. The Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by their advertising or promotional agencies.

12. Prize/Odds: Odds of winning in any promotion depend on number of eligible participants. Void where prohibited. Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino will not offer buy-out options unless stated in prize section of the rules. Participants may win once per promotion day unless stated otherwise in the prize section of the rules. Management reserves the right to change or cancel this promotion at any time and without prior notice.
