BRET MICHAELS POSTPONES JUNE 19 CONCERT AT TACHI PALACE |

(Lemoore, Calif.) Bret Michaels has officially postponed his scheduled concert at Tachi Palace for June 19, 2009.
His official statement reads as follows:
Due to injuries suffered at the Tony Awards June 7, the "Bret Michaels Rock of Love" concert scheduled for tomorrow, June 19 at the Tachi Palace in Lemoore, Calif. will be rescheduled for Friday, September 18. Bret will throw a huge concert and party to close out the summer concert series. Those holding tickets for tomorrow's Bret Michaels show should please hold their tickets as they will be honored on Friday, September 18, and the show is expected to sell out. After the show, stay and party at an official end-of-the season after-party with Big John, Bret Michaels' band (the BMB), and a handful of the Rock of Love girls.

158 players filled up the Tachi Palace Poker Room on Saturday, April 4th, all eager to win their seat to the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event. This was the 7th event of our 10 scheduled tournaments that will send players to the Main Event this year. Proudly, this is the 7th consecutive year we have sent players to the W.S.O.P. as members of “Team Tachi”. |

The famous and long running Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino World Series of Poker qualifying events continued to grow in popularity this month. The tournament sold-out at 160 players and 36 alternates were entered through the first hour for a total 196 players. Noticeably absent was 2007 W.S.O.P. Champion and member of Team Tachi, Jerry Yang. Jerry spent the weekend representing Team Tachi at the NBC Heads-Up Championship at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. Look for the broadcast in April on NBC. |

The Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino held the 5th Qualifier for the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event on February 7th. On February 7th, 2009 the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino held the 5th of 10 scheduled 2009 “Deep Stack” World Series of Poker qualifying events. The tournament was a sell out at 160 players! 19 Alternates gained entry through the 1st hour for a total of 179 players looking to win all 1.79 million chips and gain entry into the largest tournament on earth, the 2009 W.S.O.P. Main Event! |
